Keith Witchka: Jet Set Men Entertainment last week wrapped principal photography on Getting Levi's Johnson [2010].
Its parody of current events featuring a character named Levi who's trying to avoid posing nude despite many lucrative competing offers and the mayhem that results when he's tempted over and over again.
The production wrap up in Los Angeles came the day before the real Levi Johnston, appearing on the Joy Behar Show on HLN (formerly CNN Headline News), was stunned to learn that a gay porn parody of his life had been filmed.

Behar asked if he was aware of the Jet Set movie, to which Johnston responded: "Okaaaaaaaay." He paused and then told Behar "I guess they're going to do what they're going to do."

Keith Witchka: Chris, what possessed you to come up with the "Getting Levis Johnson" [2010] spoof?
Chris Steele: After watching all the news and blog stories about Levi Johnston both me and John Tegan, the co-writer of the script, talked about how we would love to do a parody about Levi if only we could find a look alike to play him in a movie.When we were going over photos of the guys in Pizza Boy Gang bang [2010], our January release, we couldn't help but notice how much Casey Monroe resembled Levi and when we saw that we knew we had our Levi and we had to do the movie.
Keith Witchka: You've got mega stars such as Mark Dalton, Brent Corrigan, Jesse Santana, Diesel Washington, Landon Mycles and Casey Monroe as Levi. You even have a Special Appearance by Lisa Ann, star of Nailin' Paylin [2009]. With a cast like this, did you go over budget?

Chris Steele: Yes, we certainly ended up with a higher budget than when we first set out to do the project. Things evolved as we spent more time on development. For example, originally we were only going to imply that there was a Sarah Palin character in the movie but after watching Nailin' Paylin I decided to seek out Lisa Ann and make her role much bigger. We always had planned for a hot solo guy to do a jack off scene and it just worked out that Mark Dalton became available as we were casting.
With such a stellar cast already I wanted to push it even further and the last model I cast was Brent Corrigan.His scene with Casey Monroe is one of the best scenes in the movie. No Chris Steele movie is complete without a hot blond boy like Landon Mycles and we had always known we wanted Diesel Washington and Jesse Santana because they both had expressed a desire to do a scene together.
The biggest and best surprise of all was Casey Monroe. Other than looking like Levi Johnston he turned out to be an exceptionally good actor.
He's also a great top and he looked very getting fucked by Diesel in the final three-way with Jesse. Dallas Reeves, Luke Markum and newcomer Tommy G. making his first gay porn movie rounded out the cast.
Keith Witchka: In Getting Levis Johnson [2010], you've added an interracial genre scene to the mix. With a number of major labels such as Jet Set Men (www.JetSetMen.com) tapping into the interracial genre market, will JRL fans be seeing more interracial productions coming out of the Jet Set Men camp in 2010?
Chris Steele: I have interracial scenes in Jock Tease [2008], Screwed [2009], former No.1 hit onthe JRL Weekly Top 100 Big Dick Society II: Dicktimized [2009] and Getting Levi's Johnson [2010].
Keith Witchka: How did it feel having Joy Behar plug your upcoming feature? This has to be a first in the history of main stream news that an anchor would mention an upcoming gay adult film to their audience.
We are use to hearing about heterosexual porn but never gay porn. What were you feeling when you heard about this? And, do you feel that the time has come for mainstream entertainment news to start spotlighting big budget gay adult films?
Chris Steele: It was definitely a surprise to see Joy Behar ask Levi Johnston directly if he knew a gay porn parody was being made of him. I thought his reaction was priceless.To me he seemed very flattered and intrigued yet he didn't want to show that because someone might presume he too had a thing for guys.
It was a classic straight boy response. I have a feeling he'll see the movie but never tell anyone.
I think if a gay porno movie gets main stream press it's great and it's fun. All publicity is good. I make gay porn for guys to jack off to and fantasize about and if someone on TV notices and talks about the movie I think that's awesome.

Keith Witchka: What is the synopsis for Getting Levis Johnson [2010]?
Chris Steele: The story follows our Levi character from his Fleshbot Porn Crossover Award through his fashion shoot and leads up to his nude photo shoot. Throughout the movie our character can't decide whether or not he should pose in the nude, meanwhile, everyone around him has an opinion about it.
Keith Witchka: How many cameras were used in this production? Was it the normal two cameras or did you go for three to four cameras for this production?
Chris Steele: We used two cameras, two camera men and we filmed in High Definition so that the movie can be released on Blu-Ray as well as DVD. I normally use a maximum of two camera men on production. The times when I have had three camera men one was dedicated to behind the scenes while two worked on the set.Keith Witchka: Do you think you'll receive any backlash from the Levi Johnston camp objecting to the name of your upcoming blockbuster?
Chris Steele: I can't imagine they would object to anything in the movie. It is a parody and a sex comedy. If anything I think Levi will be flattered when sees how big Casey Monroe's cock is.
Keith Witchka: When is Getting Levis Johnson [2010] schedule to be released in both America and the EU?
Chris Steele: It will be released in March 2010 in both the USA and EU. The UK takes a little longer for approval but it will be released there as well in the first half of 2010.
Keith Witchka: Will Getting Levis Johnson [2010] be available in different languages? The only reason I'm asking you this is because I'm sure that Marina Pacific Distribution is going to be launching this film world wide in 2010.

Chris Steele: We don't have plans to release multiple languages but if the demand arises we certainly will. We are contemplating an R Rated version.
Keith Witchka: How long will JRL fans have to wait Chris for the world premier of the movie trailer of Getting Levis Johnson [2010] on JRL?
I will have a teaser by the end of this month and a trailer by mid February.
