 About Us JRL Publications was conceived by our founder Ralph WilMacheck October 3, 2003 with a weekly newsletter that was distributed to retail store outlets nationwide. And we will always be grateful for their support escpecially in these crazy times regarding the hardships of Gays and Lesbians. But watching this process year after year, we start to see a pattern that just didn't add up most of the time. Different regions will do better with different genres, and fetishes this is clear, but we cannot base those issues on the blood and sweat of producers and distributors who go through serious competitve techniques in order to market and sell their product to retail, mailorder and internet markets. With over 180 Professional Gay Production companies,another 80 independent studios, you undoubtedly have a hardcore drive to make sure your product is presented to the public, fighting for that spot on the shelf or website. Retailers, mailorder and websites have to determine based on their monthly budgets of what to carry on their shelves or what to stock on their website the product to offer our loyal consumer base. And everyone knows the old saying "This is hot, You Have to stock it". That phrase has been around since I first started in this business in 1986. Now those days are gone and it is a new era. We plan to expand JRL to make surewe provide the Gay Community who support what we do to stay up to date onthe latest softwares, industry information and product availability. This is the premier publication that will only focus on The Gay Adult Film Industry. When you want to know key statistics, you will come to the JRL website to gather your research, that is what we are here for. We will always give all studios attention for we know this industry has a variety of productions for the public and we cannot ignore one genre, fetish or fantasy concept based on politics and personal feelings. However, we will not promote any type of illegal behavior in any way shape or form. We have enough to worry about in this business than to take a risk of bringing negative attention to our industry. This publication was started with the goal of supporting both our producers, distributors, retailers and most of all consumers and we will continue to do this for years to come.
