Police Catch Suspected Robber of the Cupid’s Adult Bookstore

CHEYENNE, WY – One male suspect faces burglary charges after police say he broke into an adult book store and stole adult merchandise early Friday morning in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Police officers responded to the Cupids Adult Bookstore located at 509 West 17th Street around 4:45 a.m. after receiving a call that a man had broken a window at the Cupids Adult Bookstore.

When police officers arrived on the scene, they spotted the suspect running from the adult bookstore.  They gave chase and caught the man a short distance away on Pioneer Ave.  The man, identified as 26-year-old Joshua Stamey, allegedly had stolen property from Cupid’s Adult Bookstore on him at the time of the arrest.

Stamey was arrested and faces burglary charges at this time.
