TEMPE, AZ -  The B2B trade show Phoenix Forum which is now taking place at Tempe Mission Palms Hotel and Conference Center located at 60 East 5th Street in Tempe, AZ, is giving the first industry tradeshow panel discussing the approval of .XXX and how it may impact both the Gay, Lesbian and Heterosexual Adult Marketplace.

This Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m., the two seminar rooms at the Tempe Mission Palms will be merged into one larger area to accommodate this important discussion.

Panel participants include moderator Tom Hymes from AVN Media Network; Colin Rowntree of Wasteland; Jeffrey Douglas from the Law Office of Jeffrey J. Douglas; Ron Cadwell of CCBill and Allison Vivas of Pink Visual/TopBucks.

I’m not sure why JRL CHARTS wasn’t invited to represent the views and concerns of the Gay Adult Film Industry to speak at this event but myself as well as Executive Editor n’ Chief Alberto Baltazar Flores, are here to observe and report.

While ICANN’s approval does not legally mandate any immediate change, many members of the Adult Entertainment industry are wondering how this will impact their business and what are the potential risks and benefits to acquiriing .XXX.

According to panelists listed for the event, their will be a wide variety of questions put to the panel and the what if any will be the benefits of purchasing .XXX  for adult gay and heterosexual porn labels.

Basic questions would be of course How could it impact SEO practices? Could the partitioning of content into different top-level domains (TLDs) marginalize market segments?

Could the split produce a clearly defined categorization of entertainment safe from the reach of minors? Could it help combat piracy or fraud?
